Basically the X algorithm has made itself irrelevant to current news. By throttling down on all perceived viewpoints that don’t coincide with right wing ideology they are irrelevant and have zero currency. As a way to check on accounts you already follow yeah. But day by day it’s algorithms are

I have been checking in every now and again with x. It’s irrelevant. No current or breaking news that’s contrary to official White House Trumpian viewpoints. The search only shows the top 4/5 right wing topics of the day. Other than accounts you may currently follow the news feed is limited.

Seriously @safety.bsky.app how can I block caturday it’s just not me I’m done I don’t need it listed twice in the discovery feed. I don’t hate cats but for the love of god how do I stop pointless posts of these creatures that decimate native wildlife. 🥺

Agree. Been checking x for current news and it pretty much sucks at being relevant. It’s a dying platform for relevancy and updates. Can’t see TikTok being any better (with forthcoming purchases) so by default it’s blue sky

So glad that EU is now taking this seriously. What a tightrope the world is treading. To do too little too late whilst watching the immeasurable harm done to your country people is painful. To stand against aggression is easy when it’s not your home at risk. But as we have seen countless times

most of his cabinet are just doing whatever they want regardless of the outcomes or consequences. So what happens to the USA from here ? No SOCTUS No Congress No Media.
what’s who’s next ? All I can see is a pendulum swinging out of control. 250 years of democracy is pretty good. Don’t waste it.

Trump was repeatedly warned about china’s stranglehold over processed rare earth materials. It’s the dumbest action to threaten the guy who holds 95% of the stuff you need to keep production of tech hardware going. Trump can only hold the last thing told to him. Who knows who is in charge.

When Australians are sold a pack of outright lies to justify outrageous high gas prices domestically, in order to make tax fee profits for international companies who don’t pay a cent. All costs of production and exploration are written off. Oh and then Australians have to pay for the cleanup too.
