I can't really think of a way to describe how baffling this all is i think i spent like an hour once just trying to wrap my head around it all. For example github.com/seanpm2001/SNU try and figure out what this does/how to install it. Every single repo is like this. This is before AI too

Ya this version is from 2005 stuff like FL was pretty mature by then anyway & came with lots of soft synths I think cubase just was the sort of professional brand. same reason people still used premiere even though Vegas was cheaper and way better around the same time
