Oh hey - the original Dummy 13 model was posted two years ago today.

What would you want to see in a version 2.0?
Been printing thousands of these (at least 5kg of PETG so far).

What are they? I'll get around to sharing that eventually :)

These will be part of a giveaway next time I make it to a maker fair or RepRap festival.

I've been playing with a new string idea, I'm a bit obsessed! 😆
I experience this constantly with everything from names to abstract principles.

Dunbar's number? 150 comes to mind without effort. But I'll struggle for hours to recall the name "Dunbar".

The only saving grace is when a word has a simple etymology I can reconstruct, which isn't the same as recall.
Looks like I might be wrong and we're getting BETTER than what I was willing to accept... I wouldn't complain.
This is what I love to hear.
While I like the full tool changer solution of the XL, IDEX seems to make a lot of sense for this format.
I have too many perfectly functioning Prusa MK3 & MK4 3D printers to justify buying a Core One...

But if they ever released a version of the Core One with 2 printheads, well, I'd find a way to convince myself to upgrade/replace them all.
Thank you! Been working on a couple things I hope to share soon :)

It's been quite a year.
Boring answer, but I really like Inland's Bone White. I don't know what it is about that specific color, but it prints better than every other shade.
Absolutely relatable. I hope the creative muses kick back in for you!

#TodaysMomentOfAwesome Working the CocoaPress booth at @3dprintopia.bsky.social my 1st 3D print event

Walking around, talking to people, seeing the amazing ideas that come from Cartesian planes & melting plastic to become absolutely incredible designs.

I've posted a requested update to one of my #3dprinted mini monster models.

The Mini Skeleton now has a 3rd pose: double pointed fingers. It's perfect for balancing multiple skulls at the same time!

In case you didn’t know, I 3d print and donate parts to help disabled gamers be able to play. I run it all through www.thecontrollerproject.com if you want to learn more. This was this weeks shipments!
New clips installed. They look good!
So I should abandon my plans to add guitar strings to the XL so that it plays a note every time a tool is parked?
Thank you, I'll try it out!
Reduces friction in the system significantly!

The filament does catch a bit at the extruder during initial load - perhaps due to the PC6-M5 connectors I used. It's a tradeoff I'm willing to accept.

I might add a very short 4mm run at the end just to transition into the extruder.
