Hip Hip Huzzah for the 95th!

I had fun 👍

(One year ago) Done... Well, I still have the bases to finish. I have painted my first Imperial Guard squad for over 15 years 👍

Love those! Especially the mix of all the different eras of wights!

Not quite managing a mini-a-day at the moment. Life is busier unfortunately, but the Escher Wyld Runner is done. I originally named her Ribena but now I think she looks like Rumi from #K-PopDemonHunters

Next, does the Dauntless finally get painted, or a Punishment class Arbites cruiser?

#nerdlings
A young warrior with purple hair, a pink top and knee pads, urban camo pants and a glowing green arrow on her bow. The same warrior viewed from behind with her purple hair in a braid and a quiver of metallic green fletched arrows. The long suffering Dauntless Light Cruiser A converted Arbites Punishment class Strike Cruiser

Heading into the Danger Zone with this Dakkajet for today's mini challenge! The Red Devil as it came to be known by the pilots of the Imperial Navy.

For tomorrow it's back to the underhive, but should I paint Sgt Jeffords of Enforcer Precinct 99 or Ribena, Wyld runner of House Escher?

#nerdlings
A red Ork fighter jet with yellow flames painted on the wings, and a black nose cone with chequer board painted on it. A red Ork Dakkajet for the awesome game Aeronautica Imperialis A bulky police enforcer armed with a combination pneumatic ram and grenade launcher, waiting to be painted A young underhive woman with a bow and arrows, undercoated black and waiting to be painted

Mordheim Sister of Sigmar throws her weight around as she beats me out the Marienburger docker for today's mini-a-day.

For tomorrow I thought we'd head back to the skies but should I paint an Aeronautica scale Dakkajet, or should I paint a much older Epic scale Fighta bomba?

#nerdlings
A red headed battle nun in a white robe, blue surplus and swinging a massive sigmarite warhammer around The same nun viewed from behind A Top Gun style ork Dakkajet just waiting to be painted A much tinier, much older ork fighter bomba

And here's some other ships from the fleet

Thanks,here's a few more photos.

The Dauntless lost out again to my converted Tyranid cruiser. I am very pleased with it though, especially with how symmetrical it looks from above.

For tomorrow we return to the City of the Damned. But should I paint the Marienburg dockside tough or a holy Sister of Sigmar?

#nerdlings
A shark finned alien cruiser with massive crushing claws The same cruiser from above, pressed like a bug in a display case A bit of rough A saintly hammer wielding sister

It was built with this load out in mind

Meat! It's what's for dinner! #Necromunda corpse grinder butcher completed for today's Mini-a-day challenge. Might add gore to him later.

Next, let's return to the void between the stars, but should I paint the much lamented Dauntless class light cruiser or a converted Tyranid cruiser?

#nerdlings
A palid blood crazed butcher in red steel armour, and grey/green rubberized clothing The same butcher from behind. He has towering wracks of skulls on his shoulders and pipes of blood circulating through his armour A bleak black unpainted Dauntless class light cruiser A partially painted insectoid tyranid cruiser

It's like in Mario Kart when you get Shrunkled! The epic Ork buggy kicks off #Orktober with a very tiny waaargh.

For tomorrow, it's back to the underhive of Necromunda. But do I paint the Cawdor heavy stubber? Or finish painting the Corpse Grinder boss?

#nerdlings
#epic40k
#warhammercommunity
A teeny tiny ork buggy of the Evils Suns, with red armour to go faster and flames painted up the front The same buggy from the other side, complete with tiny pistol in a teeny holster on the gunners hip A grey sprayed ganger with a heavy machine gun from the Necromunda house Cawdor A part painted community butcher specialising in farm to table to trophy wrack. He has red bronze armour but not much else on him is painted yet

I had hoped they would do that for the Border Princes list in the new arcane journal so, you know, we can at least live in hope of a made to order if nothing else.

Combinations of words I did not need:

Raw dogging ✅
Galrauch ✅
90percentgeek.bsky.social
Or just re-release classic Engrim Van Horsstman model! That two headed dragon was so cool and is just as old as the wood elf dragon they re-released
90percentgeek.bsky.social
Second arcane journal I reckon. They should have released them in the first one. I am wondering if Lumpin Croops halfling archers will get re-released as a group of generic halfling archers.

But harpies, literally in Ravening Hordes. And not even a whiff of when they might be released.
90percentgeek.bsky.social
I'm still over here waiting for harpies for my beastmen. Like, an actual unit entry that's key to the list, and they haven't even re-released it yet, never mind made some new models!

Mordheim Witch Hunter completed as requested. I may have been humming "Toss a coin to your Witcher..." whilst painting him.

Since it is the first of Orktober I thought I would mark the occasion with today's offerings:

Do I paint a classic Gorkamorka boy? Or an Epic ork buggy?

#nerdlings
#Mordheim
A white haired, grizzled witch hunter, with his sword slung over one shoulder, clad in dark grey and faded black clothes under a heavy leather over armour. The rear of the same witch hunter, complete with a mysterious, purple, magic tome he seized from a warlock before burning him. A Gorkamorka ork boy on a classic tiny oval base A teeny tiny ork buggy, waiting to be painted
90percentgeek.bsky.social
Thanks, I've done all of mine as quite vibrant and different to each other.
90percentgeek.bsky.social
Ah the Retribution class, my favourite battleship
90percentgeek.bsky.social
Whilst a certain witch hunter model gets painted, here's an awesome dauntless class cruiser - at least somebody painted one!
owolf.bsky.social
The Dauntless class light cruiser is my favorite BFG ship.
The “Wappen von Mattiaka” in deep space.
Blue, black and gold imperial battle fleet gothic ship set in front of a picture of a stellar nebula

Looks like the Dauntless Light Cruiser might never get painted, but the first member of Dauntless Squadron of the Imperial Navy is done at least. I love Aeronautica and it's a shame GW didn't make more models for it.

For tomorrow, should I paint a tough guy from Marienburg or a grim witch hunter?
A lightning strike fighter in light grey with yellow flashing on the wings and tail. The base shows a green radar screen. A tough guy with a knife and a big scary axe and an even bigger scarier feather. A solemn looking witch hunter captain taking his pet severed head out for a walk.
90percentgeek.bsky.social
That's a gorgeous scheme for it too! Does she have a name?

First Blood Bowl college athlete completed - Draken Tweaker, dwarf blocker for The Crazy Team of Arfur Brown (pyromaniac cousin of Radagast).

For tomorrow, does the Dauntless cruiser finally get painted, or would you prefer a Lightning interceptor from Aeronautica?

#nerdlings
#warhammercommunity
Draken Tweaker, joined the College of Fire on a sports scholarship as though not noted for his magical ability, he was exceptionally fond of huffing the fumes from dragon fire and playing Blood Bowl. Clad in the teams distinctive red and yellow flame decorated kit, and boasting a ruddy complexion from their head coaches insistence they practice in the furnace room. Same dwarf blocker viewed from behind. How he keeps his long flowing blonde locks and beard from getting scorched is beyond me. An as yet unpainted Dauntless class light cruiser. I'm thinking of naming it Felix given how unlucky it is in the votes for what gets painted. An unpainted avenger lightning class strike fighter. I'm thinking of naming this squadron Dauntless squadron out of a sense of irony.
