People with disabilities were the Nazis first victims of mass murder. Many families, already stressed beyond belief, rely on legal protection and institutional support from government entities. You cant be anti-abortion or pro-life and anti-special ed, healthcare for kids, and food assistance.

There are reports that the *entire* office of special education at the US Dept of Education has been cut. These hardworking folks ensure kids with disabilities get equal access to a quality education.

We overheard people struggling with hard level Pips w/o spoilers, followed people’s podcasts, and called ourselves the waiting room family! We felt the agony of parents leaving w/out their pets and cheered for those who went home stable. This my 3rd time exp. kindness in a month! I like it. More.

Everyone was worried, and teary eyed for each other’s pets. My faith in humanity was almost restored seeing people showing real empathy like this was unlike anything I’ve experienced during my 16 years in LA. We laughed at the furbabies’ pathetic intake photos. We heard their origin stories.

I had to take my pup to the emergency vet after he was puking blood, arching his back, and listless. We were there for 3+ hrs. He’s ok. No obstructions. Nothing abnormal EXCEPT that the waiting room was full of empathetic humans who came together to support perfect strangers.

Florida fire bug who allegedly set the Palisades on fire got due process: interviewed, lied but believed, cleared, went to Florida, and drove his Uber. Meanwhile, people are being ripped away from their families and put in ICE facilities by masked thugs without DUE PROCESS. I wonder why?
