My other scouting report from watching half of this Alabama-Missouri game is Missouri edge Damon Wilson. He's good. Stood out to me.

I would like Alabama linebacker Justin Jefferson to please change his name before he enters the NFL to Justin Hines-Jefferson.

New feature added to @ftnfantasy.com DVOA stats pages: Offense and Defense DVOA now list future schedule strength (scroll to the far right).

Offense DVOA will have average future defensive opponents, and Defense DVOA will have average future offensive opponents.

On defense (measuring opposing offenses):

Cardinals go from 27th schedule so far to hardest remaining.

Vikings go from easiest to No. 2 hardest.

Commanders go from 30th to No. 4 hardest.

Schedule gets much easier for these defenses: Jets, Packers, Ravens

Fun with DVOA schedule strength.

Colts offense goes from 30th schedule of opposing D so far to hardest remaining.

These offenses go from Top 5 hard schedules of opposing D so far to bottom 10 easiest remaining: Ravens, Bengals, Bucs, Commanders

Those of us in the non-political writing world get these responses all the time, like there isn't room for both entertainment and politics in our lives.

Two things:

• The players aren’t (at least publicly) looking at the rest of the schedule as easy or hard. Garrett Bradbury told me: “If we start thinking about the strength of schedule, we’re in trouble.”

• Love the historical comp to the '98 Cards provided by @aaronschatz.com. Jake Plummer FTW!

That might be the best throw Dart has made all night, to deliver that ball to Theo Johnson under heavy pressure.

That's been a problem all season.

Actually, yes. And this week.

A lot of people did not understand this post.

An asterisk is not an excuse, it's a reminder.

With no Mitchell and no Jalen Carter, this game is going to need a big ol' asterisk when we're talking about the Eagles' season in December and January.

Nabers is going to be out all season! We'll all know this. Mitchell and Carter are probably only missing this game specifically and people will forget.

In 1976, this 49ers touchdown was negated by a 15-yard helping the runner penalty.

Like, there was a whole TV show about it.

I hate that Al Michaels is losing it but I think that's the second or third time this year that he said "trade" about a player who signed in free agency.

DVOA is trying to be predictive and leaves out things that are not predictive, which is the difference between that and EPA.

"The Eagles are creating just 0.8 yards before contact on designed runs, and backs are getting hit behind the line on 44.9% of carries..." 👀
