Spooky-ooky queer woman. Storyteller of Vampire the Masquerade and other ghoulish things. Obsessed with classic horror movies. I want to live in a crypt. Normal human and totally not a vampire.

Hay there! I'm Abendroth, a huge fan of Vampire The Masquerade and a storyteller with big ambitions. I also like other dark ttrpg's like CoC and Blades. I love writting and talking about writing! My nerd superpower is an encyclopedic knowledge of classic monster movies. 🦇

1970s European horror movie recommendation day #10 - Dr. Jekyll vs. The Werewolf (1972) Ok, so I'm putting this movie on the list just for the sleezy weirdo grindhouse factor. A decedent of the OG Dr. Jekyll decides that it would be a great idea to try and cure lycanthropy with the Hyde serum. Yeah.
Mr. Hyde walking around modern day London with Victorian era clothing. Where did he get them? Only the director knows for sure.

I'm playing it in little snippets one battle at a time. I'll probably put it on hold when Bloodlines 2 comes out but then I'll pick it back up. So far it's a phenomenal game

FF Tactics is a very serious game.
A Final Fantasy style Black Mage by the rather crass name of Dr. Orgasm. LOL as they say.

Had a wonderful day at my girlfriend's house working on my project next to her while she worked from home. Currently I'm working on the second draft of the meat of the one-shot. Adding in more than I thought I would, mostly like rules and stuff for people new to V5
The year is 1986 and it's a chill Autumn night in the rural town of Dairyington Wisconsin, where you find yourselves buried in a SHALLOW GRAVE, with each of you having no clear memory as to how you got here. The last thing you remember is that you were in Milwaukee, where your big Halloween gig is supposed to take place later tonight, and you were recording an episode of the public access show Head Bangers Delight to help promote it.

Why should we pay taxes to a dysfunctional government that is actively destroying our democracy? If we had sane and sensible fail-safes in place, like a parliamentary system at the very least, as soon as the budget failed to pass we would have had new elections. The US is broken.

1970s Eurohorror recommendation day #9 - Tombs of The Blind Dead (1972). The first and most incoherent of the Blind Dead films is still pretty good, even with its dream like logic. The zombies themselves are highly unique and the entire series definitely deserves viewing.
Some especially decrepit zombies holding a beautiful woman. One suspects that these zombies are up to no good.

We can be the two knuckleheads that read the translated pages from the Necronomicon Ex Mortis out loud like morons

A long time ago back when I still used to drink I once wrote this song and I was like, "Oh shit this is great! I'm fucking brilliant!" And then when I sobered up I realized that I had "written" Norwegian Wood by the fucking Beatles with different lyrics

My girlfriend should be home any minute so I just finished washing up and making myself smell pretty and stuff. I'm so lucky I get to spend another night with her!

I'll call it, "The Fall of The House of Chris."

A Halloween story where a trans person inherants a spoooky old house haunted by the ghosts of their ancestors, who will not stop fucking dead-naming them. At first they're polite and they gently correct the ghosts, but by the end of the story they're burning that mother fucker to the ground 👻

No regular work today so I'm hard at work on my personal projects, in this case my 1980s Heavy Metal themed VtM one-shot. Currently making a ST cheat-sheet for all the discipline powers and also making V5 Celerity a little bit cooler in the process; I always thought it needed a buff.
Celerity -
Rapid Reflexes - No Rouse Check. Gain dice equal to your Celerity rating when attempting to dodge bullets, AKA “that Matrix power.”
Fleetness - One Rouse Check. Add users Celerity rating to all dex based NON COMBAT tests. In combat, this ability may be activated at any time and the dice may be added when defending with a Dexterity + Athletics roll.

It's the day of my birthing! Took the rest of the week off to celebrate, and my celebrate I mostly mean I'm gunna work on my writing projects lol. When I'm not doing that the plan is to spend as much time with my incredible girlfriend as possible 💜
