There are zero physical assets to back up crypto. It is just vapor currency. At least government printed currency has the credit worthiness of a country backing it, and national assets can have liens attached to them in international courts.

Kershaw stunk up the county on his last start. But instead of helping the Brewers, I think that is bad news for them. He is a Trump lover, but he is also a tough, sure fire Hall of Fame Pitcher also. Plus he retires after this season, my guess is his teammates want to win for him.

The Dodgers have all the intangibles in their favor. A future Hall of Fame Manager who has been here before. Many players who have been here before. A second best Pitcher who stunk up his last game and will likely pitch much better on his coming turn.

The Phillies won one game in that series. If the Dodgers split in Milwaukee then they likely win in 5 or 6.

The Dodgers have won 2 of their last 3 trips to the NLCS. In all cases, the winner went on to win the World Series. Experience at that level may be the determining factor. The Dodgers have a manager who is already Baseball Manager HOF qualified, but still loves winning.

I think it depends upon which Dodgers team show up, the 10-0 team or the 3-7 team. The Dodgers have plenty of recent experience in the NLCS, winning two of their last three trips.

That means the Dodger hitters are going to have 4 inch wide strike zones, and the Brewers Pitchers are going to have to put the ball in the middle of that zone to get a strike called.

They did that several times this season, followed by winning 4 of 10 games. It depends upon which Dodgers team shows up. I would favor them simply because they have been in the NLCS a lot lately and won’t get the yipes.

The current Dodgers look like the team that went 10-0 and 9-1 out of the last 10 games. If that continues then the NLCS will likely be short.

It is hard to tell. The Dodgers in the last two series looked like the team that was running away with the best record in Baseball earlier in the season. But then it had spates of going 9-1 and 3-7 over their last 10. Will the 10-0 and 9-1 Dodgers show up, or will the 3-7 Dodgers show up?

The CDC is invaluable when outbreaks happen and for tracking developing illness trends and acting before the trends become chronic. Daily walks don’t impact either one of those potential massive killers of people.

What you said matches what I have observed. The older men in my family have a high incidence of prostate cancer. I would want a Doctor to act faster with me whether than wait and watch. Jane seems to have either clinical expertise or is in a family that had many prostate cancer incidences.

Two years is a long time in Baseball. For example, that scary 23 year old Pitcher that Toronto has was likely in college two years ago. He likely starts Game 2 for Toronto, so if Seattle doesn’t win Game 1, they are most likely going to face every Toronto pitcher except one, twice.

But a person can be expedient and good at building things but have near zero ethics. I think that is where we are today, with people like Musk, Theil, Bezos, Zuckerberg, Ellerson looming large in society. Their “values” are transactional, not deeply held and ingrained.

In my view the problem is a simple lack of ethics. Ethics can be taught but teaching them doesn’t mean that they get absorbed and ingrained into the choices that people make. Today, people like Musk, Bezos, Thiel are put on a pedestal because they are good at expedience.

I replace a 2-3 tablespoons of the flour that is called for with cornstarch. If you start with a soft bake cookie recipe, the small amount of cornstarch help keep the cookies soft.

Interestingly, adding much more cornstarch (7-8 tablespoons) gives crunchy cookies.

When perfume is used to try to mask lack of good body and clothing hygiene, then that is a turn off. I am a man, when I smell light perfume on a woman who also seemed to have good body hygiene and clothing hygiene, it is pretty intoxicating and I am always impressed.
