Pnly real culture shock moment so far. I ordered McDonalds because I want to try the tsukimi and teriyaki burgers, and they arrived within 5 minutes. Still hot.

Just realized that in my entire stay here, I've not seen or heard anyone have a phone call on speaker while holding their phone in front of their face like an asshole.

In fact, the term for "silent" is "manner mode.

No loud Tiktok video noises coming from phones either.

Spent the morning at a small hole in the wall to eat a natto set for breakfast while a drunk 50 year old lady who stumbled in after a nearby izakaya closed was hitting on me.

I like this better than most touristy stuff.

Reminds me of the weirdest thing. You know the Millenium Tower in Yakuza?
The real one has a Toho hotel next to it with a giant Godzilla head peeking out.

To make it weirder, this was to celebrate Anno's much more realistic modern take on the series. In what's essentially a red light district.

On the other side of the spectrum. 11's balance is just depressing. I dodged 9 out of 10 random encounters and could oneshot bosses most of the game still.

Never finished it because I got bored despite it having my favorite party cast. Maybe need to go back with all those difficulty settings maxed.

They came a long way from the boss dying in 4 hits while being able to fully heal back to max at a 1/3 chance early on.

Mostly interesting from the perspective of having played the Yakuza series. It's a rough neighborhood. Still a bit safer than some of what I'm used to in my own country the past few years. But probably much, much worse at night, or if you're a woman.
