Just now post showed a video of a NYC African American woman berating ICE for stopping someone and demanding ID. The video showed that ICE officers sassed her and threatened to jail her for berating them, repeatedly saying, you wanna go to jail? But it's not illegal to criticize.

The Chicago Tribune headlined an article today "ILL. looks at limiting federal immigration agents". Legislators are discussing keeping them from sensitive places, like schools, courts, and hospitals. My suggestions are to require full identification, judicial warrants, and uncovered faces.

On the WTF show, former President Obama said about "the politicization of the military" in Chicago, "That's not our idea of America. We don't want masked folks with rifles and machine guns patrolling our streets...We don't want kangaroo courts and trumped up charges."

US citizens are being stopped and questioned, and sometimes arrested by ICE agents demanding proof of citizenship. Mavis Greeley, an adoptee, was grabbed and cuffed hands behind her, even though carrying her US passport, because "I 'didn't look like a Greeley.' They kept telling me I'm lying".

89% of 1200 Jewish American citizens say that they trust medical researchers and scientists "to do the right thing" but only 24% said they trust "senior officials in the Trump administration" to do so. Survey by Ipsos and political scientist James Druckman and Berkeley sociologist Bruce Fuller.

Many videos of ICE operations made by bystanders show officers shouting at and aggressively arresting and handcuffing people who request to see a judicial warrant. A Chicago alderman was detained for asking to see the warrant for a man ICE was looking for in a hospital in Humbolt Park.

ICE has been deployed to *provoke* civilians, not to protect them. They want to throw tear gas canisters and get people on the streets riled up, all to create footage for Fox News and Newsmax, et al., that will be used as a pretext for imposing martial law to lower voting rates in Democratic cities.
