A note on “irony-poisoning” from a #Nazisploitation creator.

If you see someone claiming that their Nazi dogwhistles are “ironic,” keep this in mind.

When we are "canceled," we do not seek out comfort in right-wing grifting or bitter rhetoric. We reject all attempts at outreach by those we know hold contempt for our fellow humans and countrymen in their hearts.
Nazisploitation is not ironic. It is a tearing-down of the political image of the Nazi into an object of fetish to be degraded and stripped of dignity.
In Nazisploitation, we are expected to be ill-at-ease, shocked, or even nervously giddy at times. We are asked to be uncomfortable and to find catharsis therein.
Creators who claim
"irony" have simply not yetapable od thaingsolae
in discomfort. They cannot perform a vivisection of their own fears and instead seek to hide and disengage. Irony is
not freedom, it is cowardice.
To become a Nazi requires one grave defect in human nature: the overwhelming urge to preserve comfort in any form.
"Irony"
preserves comfort. That which you seek to hide behind: you will be.
