I liked how when the cops first enter Gein's house and look around, they see nearly everything, it just takes them several minutes to realize that what they're looking at is, in fact, what they're looking at. Not even Ed's mind allows him to perceive the fullness of his actions.

I think I'm gonna go with Rocky. Rarely do even endless lousy sequels to a good horror film ripple through spacetime until people forget the first one was actually good, but the Rocky sequels did that, even the better ones.
