Neither of them put the ball in the net which is the point here, they haven't been putting the ball in the net. Having shots cleared off the line or saved and underperforming your xg by almost 3 goals doesn't win you playoff matches.

Another interesting stat is Musovski only has 3 goals (MLS) all season vs teams that made the playoffs. He basically scores opportunistic close range goals vs teams with bad defense. that's great! but not gonna work in most playoff games, illustrated by his 2 bad misses last night. #ebfg #Sounders

The fwds can't finish. Since Morris returned from his latest injury: him & Musovski have combined for 2 goals in 8 matches. Since scoring in the Leagues Cup semi & final, Osaze has played a total of 69 minutes, and has now been an unused sub 4 straight matches. Makes you wonder..
