Tattoo artists get asked to do all kinds of crazy shit, & probably don't & can't know what it all means. But unless you were tattooed against your will, you should know what your own tattoos mean.

Assuming someone understands their own tattoos is literally the most reasonable assumption.

I've seen like half of these, but, admittedly, never paid close attention to the insignia. I wouldn't have recognized it prior to all this tattoo discourse.

Talking about it should at least slow it down, & if it forces him to start pardoning ppl, then that just opens a while different can of worms for him to deal w.

I mean, I hadn't heard of it until all this came out, either. That said, I wouldn't vote for or otherwise support someone w one, now that I know what it is.

My first FMF unit had a skull in the unit emblem, but that's also v clearly a Marine unit, not a Nazi one. I also didn't get it tattooed.

This coming out after the primaries either means electing another Republican, or electing a Democrat w a Nazi tattoo, both bad outcomes.

Even if it were, who cares? Better to get it out now, during the primaries, than to have it come out later & tank him in the general. What, you don't think think Collins & GOP can do oppo research, too?

If it matters, let it matter during the primary, & if it doesn't matter, then who cares at all?

My understanding is that saying the accounts used to pay military salaries do not exist as a matter of law is correct. But what this means is that they cannot be paid at all, not that that lapse somehow authorizes paying them through other means.
