I don’t remember being taught about Japanese interment camps and my kids have not specifically told me they learned about it either.

Things we have to teach now and forever. Stop letting history rhyme.

My husband works in IT and doesn’t have any hobbies that are hard on his hands, so he has, quite literally the softest hands. I don’t think he even uses lotion on the regular but gets tons of compliments.
Meanwhile, I fight calluses and hangnails. 😂

Oh I have one! It was a Mexican restaurant. One day while my husband was wearing a sriracha shirt the manager brought us this spicy rice to try. When I tell you this food touched my soul because I literally cannot explain it any other way.

I’ve had several convos with hubby about what would constitute leaving vs resisting.
Everyone needs to assess and evaluate their situation. I think in some instances some people will need to leave for safety and those can stay and fight need to.

I swap rural for NC, took a Lost Books of the Bible religious class instead of Black History where I learned the Bible was curated by man, and then taught kindergarten.

I mean we are basically the same. Lol.

An embroidery hoop filled with denim, and pinned to the denim are loads of enamel pins (badges) - some are sweary, some are quirky and some are pretty
