Whoever designed power buttons on the top of a case didn't have cats.
The moment I knew is the first time I heard Reflection from Mulan... a couple months later at the Disney in Concert Symphony. Me, sobbing in the auditorium, wondering how I never heard this song before.
Halloween egg cracking buddies
I remember hearing stories from trans women who had been out as long then as I have been now. It seemed impossible. It seemed so far away, and unattainable.

Yet here I am, 9 years later.
9 years ago I dressed as a girl for the first time. For Halloween. Specifically the video game character Linkle. Which is a girl version of Link from Legend of Zelda. I have no pictures from that day. I probably looked ridiculous. But I'll never forget that feeling.
Limit Breaker continues to be my favorite format to play in Magic the Gathering. My friends made two new decks and they wrecked my Yoshi P deck. Rydia got a turn 2 Gau out, and just stomped on everyone. Absolutely hilarious.

Gonna have to try Terra, Magical Adept against them next.
But I beat a run of Hades II!!!! I'm so pumped. Run #66! I felt like I've been making progress reliably, and not just beating my head against a wall.
I gave up on Hades originally because I was at 50 runs and I couldn't even reliably beat the Hydra. I think I had two hydra victories.

And by the time cross-save came out, I had hacked my switch and can no longer backup the save file from it to the cloud, or connect it to steam to cross-save.
The OG I want to get back to. I'm far less good at it, or at least I was? I feel like combat in II is more methodical and rhythmic, and combat in the OG felt more chaotic and bullethelly. Of course they're very similar, but on the spectrum of Hadeslikes that's how I'd describe them.
I legit don't think I've ever beat a roguelike before. Like. I'm just, generally speaking, not good at the genre. I don't actually "beat" many games, and I of course realize one roguelike victory isn't necessarily "beating" the game either.

(Balatro doesn't count)

But I beat Hades II!
Special thanks to the couple from Bloomington, IL that moved out of our way so my wheelchair dependent girlfriend could see the show.

They really, really made the show for us.
Saw Chappell Roan in KC on Friday night. It was an experience I'll never forget. Partially due to ADA accessibility being a nightmare, but also because the Midwest Princess is amazing.

And saved probably my favorite art of the day for last
Went to Tower Grove Pride in St. Louis this weekend. Always a great event.
Wendy and Daft made unforgettable albums in their own styles. I usually like Trent's stuff but this is just unpleasant
Started listening to the Tron: Ares soundtrack. I was cautiously optimistic about NIN taking it on.

All hope has been dashed. Something about it is just grating and bad and not at all enjoyable to listen to.

Welcome to the 40s Mario
Just finished watching Murderbot. It made me feel things.
Finally finished my Master Sword
Me, listening to my Oops All Bangers playlist, "I should put this song on Oops All Bangers"
Ah. Right. I haven't painted the shield or sword yet. Those are next on my list. I'll see what kind of highlighting I can do with it.
I would absolutely love advice!
