Maybe this is a hot take, but to me "it's the thought that counts" doesn't mean a gift is good by default, just because someone thought of you and got you some trash off temu.
The thought counts, because you spent 30s thinking about who the recipient is as a person and got something they'd like.

Went infinite turns with Vorel of the Hull Clade and Magister's Scepter, while Darksteel Reactor was on the table. Basically exactly what this deck was built to do.

Played a Final Fantasy multiplayer draft tonight and ended up with a disgusting Gogo/Edea Kramer blue/white control deck, but I made some poor early decisions and ended up being knocked out first.

Phage the Untouchable cast from my hand, then sacrificed to another card effect, causing her to come into play on my opponent's field thanks to Endless Whispers.
Since my opponent didn't cast phage from their hand, she kills them.
