What do your MC and villain think of one another?

In The Caein Legacy, Andrew and Colin are brothers. Colin feels jealousy toward Andrew at first, then he gets downright mean.

The villain of Serpentus is a god. He sees Owen as nothing more than a tool.

The series in question:
1) The Mage War Chronicles (6 books complete, 2 more outlined but not drafted yet)

2) The Fontayne Company duology (I *just* finished the 2nd book 2 weeks ago. Planning to publish book 1 in 2027, because my process takes a little time.)

I was publishing 2-3 per year, but only 1 this year.

I write whole series before publishing book 1, which is why I'm now in a slow spot.

Before I started publishing in 2020, I had 8 books written. I now have 11 published, and another 8 completed. Just have to finish the rest of the series first...

I publish one 80-100k+ word (epic fantasy) novel, and I can only do that because I drafted 8 novels before I started publishing any. 📚💙

Since book 1 of my Relics of War series was recently on sale (and many people bought it), I thought I'd mention that in addition to the series, there's a standalone novel too.

Here's one from Wraith and the Revolution today

Two drinks for Vortex, and his call sign will be retired.”
Glasses are lifted to a chorus of shouts, then the mercs pause to down their drinks of choice. There’s an unexpected camaraderie amongst Omega Prime, something I never imagined possible between a ragtag group of hired guns, but I find it strangely endearing. I’m beginning to understand why the mercs are so loyal to Van Duval despite his crass nature and terrifying reputation. He doesn’t rule them solely by fear; they respect him, and he’s earned it with moments like this.
I know what you’re thinking. Am I really beginning to trust Van Duval?

I do! Halloween is my favorite holiday, and I like a good horror novel or movie now and then. Especially if they feature ghosts.

One of my characters also likes the horror genre, and that's Kye from Wraith. 😁
