We're near cashless in Australia too, but our PM appears very much denial about Trump's America. He still speaks of 'world order' as if its something the Trump Regime respects, and of 'shared values' as ICE doesn't exist.

The good news is that once you figure out which forms of sensory and info input tend to overload you, you can often find ways to minimise them. That's when I realised my life has always been harder than it needed to be, and that I can make it easier from now on, now I know what my needs are.

I only clearly spot my ADHD during a multi-month lockdown (2020), and combined with ongoing fatigue & brain fog (2022-23). My autism is clearest in unfamiliar social situations, and new work environments. But having seen the signs under extreme circumstances, I could trace them through normal ones.

The irony being there's only one other group that's assaulted people in public like this in the past six months, and that was literal nazis (assaulting First Nations people at Camp Sovereignty in Melbourne last year.)
