Which was the exact amount of words needed to hit 1M when I started 4 days ago. I’ve written 20,836 words in 4 days 15.36%. Today’s word count, before writing this afternoon is 4,975 words. There’s a whole bunch of other facts and such in the page so here they are: WORDS LEFT TO GO 114,856 words YOUR AVERAGE PACE SO FAR IS 5,209 words per day SO YOU'LL HIT YOUR GOAL AFTER 23 days WHICH WORKS OUT TO 1.57 fortnights And also: TODAY IS Day 4 of 37 PACE NEEDED TO HIT YOUR GOAL 3,524 words per day VERSUS YOUR AVERAGE, YOU’RE 1,451 words ahead (phew!) A screenshot of my graph for the current WIP as of last night Life After You was started back on May 31st and I took a bit of a hiatus to work on other books, but I’m back now and going strong! Along the bottom was my last word count input before bed. On 11-28-2025 I wrote 4,400 words bringing the total to 77,100 words. (Then there’s some notes from that session for my memory).

I’m hiding out in my grandma’s sewing room to get away from all the noise in the living room. I hate when I get migraines the day of a holiday. It’s so d*mn loud out there. >_< even with the noise cancelling headphones in I can hear everything. #Thanksgiving
Me wondering why I did this to myself… hand on my chin staring off into space. Same place just looking at the camera now. Glad to be here just wish it was quieter.

Woke up with a migraine… curse the snow storm that rolled in today. I have taken meds, am nursing some caffeine, and praying this will go away before we need to leave for family stuff. My cousin is going to be there with his wife and 4 kids who are all under 11. 🫩

Alright. The dishes are done, the apple pie is in the oven, and I’ve already glazed it twice. Will do so a couple more times before it comes out. 🙃 it’s been three hours of standing at the stove (our largest flat surface, to get it all together. 🙃 my hips hurt. But I wore my knee brace so that’s ok.

It was chaotic and I wasn’t as interested as the first season, but it all pulled together in the end and I enjoyed it. But getting there was painful for all involved. Also ended very 🤬😳
