I don't think I will ever forgive Kraft for changing the mac and cheese powder.

"This is why we can't have nice things" - apparently we can't even have cheap nostalgic struggle meal things.

Hegseth has to be charged for murder for this because every day we get a new Fox News clip of some ghoul just SALIVATING over getting to kill some civilians right out in the open and they could not be telegraphing more clearly how many more of these they want to do

For a story: I'm looking to speak to earlyish-career workers about their experiences working multiple jobs, whether it's multiple part-time/gig jobs, side hustles on top of full-time jobs, etc. Email [email protected], Signal rstauff.20, DMs open.

Started watching The Thursday Murder Club movie.

Listen the casting is impeccable, but 15 minutes in, it feels far too fast paced. We're absolutely whipping through plot points, and we've oversimplified everything.

I wish they'd made it a TV show instead of a movie.

the regime now openly says it will use its supercharged spy capabilities to target people who oppose ICE’s actions. Labeled as “domestic terrorists” by the administration, these targets include anti-ICE protesters and anyone who allegedly funds them

A good in-depth article about the life of Luigi Mangione to date.

I honestly don't know if he did it. The pictures from surveillance don't look like him to me.

What does strike me from this article is that it would be bizarre for the man described here to carry around all that evidence.
Luigi Mangione will appear in court again today.

Read our deep dive about the well-liked Ivy League grad accused of the United Healthcare CEO shooting, who became one of the most debated murder suspects in recent history.

Motherfuckers, we basically beat *cigarettes*. Young people may not remember the total ubiquity of cigarettes in public life, but it was there. People still smoke, but it's *worlds apart*. Never cede ground on hating. We might not be able to destroy AI, but we can shame it back to obscurity.
“AI is clearly sticking around so you have to get used to it” wrong. I don’t have to get used to shit. I am a practiced hater and I can keep this going for decades if I am required to

In Massachusetts, 74% of working-age recipients of food stamps are employed, half of them full-time. Nearly 2,500 work for Amazon and another 2,300 work for Walmart. Uber, DoorDash and Tempus Unlimited each have more than 1,400 workers who rely on SNAP www.bostonglobe.com/2025/11/28/m...

I'd like to commend all of you for the fact that this is the first I've heard of this meltdown, and I still don't know what all he said.

May it be ever thus. When he speaks, let the words dissolve into the wind. Let no fragment of this man's mind ever touch our own.

When you can't even be fucked to make the emptiest of gestures.
“Republicans will never allow articles of impeachment to be brought to the floor of the House of Representatives, and we know that's the case," Jeffries said at a press conference Monday.

Okay but why not…….. try anyway?

You can make a living gambling. All you do is:

Spend 8-10 hours a day at a casino
Play specific games (blackjack, poker, roulette) in a very boring but safe way
Have enough money to lose thousands before statistics rebounds you again
Not panic when you lose

Easy, it's why everyone does it.

More thoughts on this as Target puts out a "swag bag" for Black Friday that contained exactly five items all worth $5 or less:

There are 2,000 Targets in the US. With the $5 Billion budget they're allocating to dumb shit, that's $2.5M per store they could have spent for some bomb giveaways.
Watching a report on Target missing earnings calls and what they're doing about it.

They're investing $5B - billion with a b - into prettifying their stores and stocking 20,000 new products.

Nothing about the DEI boycott or affordability. Absolutely wild behavior.

Department of Defense Law of War Manual, Sec. 18.3.2.1 states the "requirement" to refuse illegal orders.

What’s its key example? Wait for it . . . It’s "orders to fire upon the shipwrecked."

I just saw a floorplan layout done by AI and let me tell you the architects should be sleeping VERY soundly.

2 bedrooms and 8 bathrooms, most of which have 3 sinks or 2 bathtubs. A "powder room" has nothing in it. A tiny bathroom with one sink and nothing else is labeled "Bedroom 4".

The most precious commodity you have is your attention. You don’t have to waste it on poor-faith debates or arguments with strangers if you don’t think they’ll be productive. You can prioritize the things that matter to you and make your life richer.
