Something confuses me about AI art, but I know if I ask I will never receive a sincere answer, so it’s annoying. Why do AI “artists” say that they are the ones creating, when they are telling a program what to make? When a commissioner tells me what to draw, that doesn’t make them the artist

One of my favourite running bits me & my gf have is making pyro draw a character from memory when he misremembers them. Thats how we ended up with “the Grubber” which was him trying to remember Grimace from McDonald’s. Delighted to welcome Chroma Magnum to the island of dipshit toys
I got confused about starwars robots during the stream today and somehow dreamed up Chroma Magnum. I couldn't remember the name C4P0, just that there was a very shiney one in a gay relationship with a beeping robot. I was asked to create a rendition of Chroma Magnum without looking up C3PO.

I read the manga “Smell” by Nagabe. I had seen someone describe it as the author being “freaky” but honestly, I think it beautifully captures that feeling of powering through the barriers of societally-enforced shame to be vulnerable and animalistic with another person. I love it. Wonderful read
