Watched videos of older queer people watching Heated Rivalry and crying, saw interviews with Hudson Williams who is a delight, rewatched some bits and OK I GET IT NOW THIS SHOW IS AMAZING ππ Iβm literally crying. Seeing Americans who are going through so much get this slice of joy is amazing.

Haaa thatβs hilarious! And yeah I do love that itβs so so romance-centric. Itβs grown on me more and more since watching it, mainly because I have now seen the Hudson Williams interviews and he is a DELIGHT. Also I have sooo many romantic Japanese and Thai BL shows to recommend to ppl who like it

Yeah Iβve gotten a lot more into it after finally seeing the interviews with the actors, which gave me as much dopamine as the show! I think I was initially offput by the way a lot of the fandom is objectifying them, but they seem fine with it (esp Hudson lol), which makes me more comfy

Iβve actually gotten a lot more into it after finally watching the interviews! I love that the actors are embracing the wildness of it all. I was uncomfortable with the response at first cos a LOT of it is objectifying them, a LOT. But they seem to be OK with it. And Hudson Williams is hilarious

It was good. I liked it. I thought they had lovely chemistry and the spice was well done.
I am a bit confused as to why it has such a huge pop culture impact though. I watch a lot of gay movies/shows and this one didnβt feel super groundbreaking. But it was cute!

Also I had a mask on my face which may have contributed to the confusion. Couldnβt see my distinguished moustache.
