Hi, I’m Alan.
In case you’ve missed my last 2 decades on social media, I’m a total car nerd, particularly about the Toyota Yaris, but I also cycle and enjoy hiking.
Trains, buses and public transport/transit are cool too and I think all those should be cleaner, more frequent and cheaper.

It’s highly borderline, and I can see it up to a few hundred miles.
I assume it’s been an “employee car” rather than a “demonstrator”.

“Because Podcast Reasons” I find myself looking at the Tesla website, where they’re listing a car with 4,507 miles on the clock and registered in March this year as “New” and not “Certified Pre-Owned”.
I’m not quite sure that’s how it works…

Most memorable to me as “a small person” was that it had an intermittent fuel feed issue, which meant that it was impossible to drive smoothly, and it would hop and stutter along the road.

My mum had a B-reg HLS, which had the 70:30 split rear seats, so it was before the 5-door.
That was practically the only good thing on that car, it was a proper “bad old BL” vehicle…

I decided the guy was just a dick. A non-follower that goes around pointing out typos and grammatical errors.
I’d transposed PBJ into PJB.
I’d forgotten to delete my initial reply then the complete block meant it was hard to find it afterwards.

I closed my Health Savings Account in the US.
HSA only pays out by check [sic] on closure and refuses to send overseas. It has taken 56 days for said outdated piece of money paper to make it from Salt Lake City to Mass. and then to Scotland, where I then paid it into my US back account by phone. 🤬

Car & Driver. I used to buy it from Border’s in the late ‘90s.
It filled my need for snark, 10-Best lists, and Valentine One and Weathertech adverts that Autocar couldn’t fulfil.
