Board members paid its superintendent a peak annual compensation of $560,000 in recent years.

#TIL the mathematician #Fibonacci (b. 1170) was one of the early promoters of the Indo-Arabic numeral system in Europe in his 13th century book Liber Abaci where he also printed the now famous Fibonacci sequence 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 13, ... as a solution to the "rabbit problem." #Science #MathSky 🧪🧮

This is my favorite #Jazz album and my first #Japanese #CD. Flying Beagle, 1987, is by Himiko Kikuchi. The dog's name is Boogie and is absolutely the reason I originally listened to this.
