NEW: There’s a disaster unfolding in Alaska right now. And no major network is covering it.

The remnants of Typhoon Halong battered western Alaska overnight. Homes, with people in them, have literally been swept into the Bering Strait.

At least 20 are missing. No comment from any federal agency.

The USS Constitution sailing under its own power in Boston Harbor for the 200th anniversary of its launch in 1797.

I had the honor and privilege to go onboard her while an active duty sailor in 1988.

The Constitution is still an active US Navy commissioned vessel.

Yep. I think red states are about to start feeling the pain. And, as much as I want to help (or have my state help), our funds are not unlimited. People in those states need to understand the consequences of their votes.

the “Jesus Christ” of Christian theology does not. Biblical Jesus is just an evolved, fantasised, hyperbolised version of that man!
