I found a "fix" that requires silly steps to make it work each time you launch the game - but it also didn't work for me so whatever I guess.

Also all the cutscenes do this on my ultra wide monitor and it’s really silly.

So anyway, I'm playing RDR2 for the first time since I bounced off it halfway through in 2018.
It's fine I guess, but it really demonstrates how pushing visual fidelity ages quickly in this media.

For an atheist I certainly keep seeing spiritual connections in things that are coincidences.
Anyway my favorite band which happens to be Finnish just released a single called Never Give Up the day after the worst day of my life where I lost the most important person in the world to me.

I got the ladybug for my mother.
She wanted to get a ladybug tattoo in this spot but lost interest when she realized she couldn't get it life size.
So I got it for her.
I knew it would be a wonderful reminder of her after she's gone, but I didn't expect it to happen so soon.

Back at the start of '24 my cousin died. I learned about it a couple days after making an important decision for getting my health back on track.
His death in caused me to double down and I'm happy with where I got myself.

For my side, I do appreciate it - even if I'm part of the offending party on this particular unfortunate issue.
I certainly found a way for me to excuse it in the moment, but it's not a good excuse and I want to get back on masking regularly.

Feeling pretty sad and lonely again.
I had like a month and a half where I was too busy to think about it, but now that I have some room to breath I'm feeling pretty bummed out again.

I have stuff going on, but it's all a lot of hard work.
I'd like something to be easy and nice for once.
