I finally realised why Silksong's audio feels weirdly forgettable to me: the original has a higher percentage of Enemies Making Weird Sounds
Replaying the original Hollow Knight after getting fed up with Silksong's Act 3. 10 hours in, and the only boss that required more than 2 tries was the Mantis Lords. I am feeling invincible

Santa Ragione are a well-known studio, covered by a great many mainstream outlets. Their latest game will not be releasing on Steam for... reasons? Steam won't tell them why, won't tell them what needs fixing, and won't communicate in general.

I wish I was worse at Silksong. I wish a boss could stonewall me.
Alas, I ate too many metroidvanias when I was young, and they made me big and strong. Not invincible, but strong enough to persist & accomplish while wishing for each fight to be 20% shorter.
Mine is a sad fate.
