We've completed all games for Monday, September 24, 1973. There are only 6 days & 64 games left in the season!

A's take the opener in the final head-to-head series with the Twins, which increses their lead to 1 1/2 gms. Twins really need to take one of this series.
I'd go Sheff. My guess is the league bowing to Trump is going to be what breaks the dam and gets Bonds & Clemens in.
20-9, 3.28 in real life

20-7, 3.17 here. That should be his last start of the season
Not over yet, but game 3 of the series is an absolute must win for the Twins
Who's your Player of the Game?

A'S PUT TWINS SEASON ON EDGE WITH A 4-2 WIN

Kubiak makes the most of a rare start, driving in the first 3 A's runs, incl a 7th inn tie-breaker. Blue gets his 20th win, going 8 innings. Thompson gets 3 Hs out of 9 spot, but never scores.

W: Blue (20-7)
L: Goltz (4-4)
S; Fingers (21)

HR: none
True. I would have guessed he had won more though.

Shocking. I can't believe Koufax only won 4 games
Haha, I didn’t see that when I posted🤪
