Kinda feel like this is a prescriptive "here's what it *should* be pronounced like. Language hasn't shifted, 99% of speakers are just wrong", motivated by a desire for social media engagement. Gonna continue to ignore this, and continue to say primer the way everyone in my life does.

If you have enough freezer space, I recommend buying frozen vegetables when you're planning to use them in cooking and just taking out what you need. I basically always have frozen broccoli at home.
