and frankly as someone who works in the field i do havin to see a lot of horrible information daily, if you don’t have to constantly expose yourself to it, why do that? go to a bookstore, call a friend, pick up a new hobby. it’s so much more freeing than the endless doomscroll.

being offline and actively just outside talking to people the past few days has done loads for my mental health. i think a lot of what goes on online, isn’t reflective of the real world. no one is meant to see this much negativity on a daily basis.
