the thing the internet fails to understand about canon discourse is that transphobes say "canon" and ppl think they're like objecting to doodling Luffy in the margins of your history textbook when what everyone transphobe or no punishes in practice is adding water to the cake mix.

also I would've made the text "metropolis 1998" a link but seems like bsky is stupid and you need to interact with the API directly to do that via some richtext facets
