The Jays are love. Their winning or losing was less important than the time spent watching them with the people I love most. People I'm lucky to have in my life to begin with.

Don't really have a point here. Just spent the morning thinking about how wildly differently I experience those two teams.

The Oilers are resilience. They're a decade of losses watched alone in a city on the other side of the country. They're digging my heels in and not changing who I am because it'd be easier.

Just a little reminder that when people say "keep the peace", they're usually asking the wronged party to shut up and take it while simultaneously removing consequences for bad actors.
