No Sarah Nurse in the #Goldeneyes lineup tonight. Anna Segedi draws in for her #PWHL debut, centering Jenn Gardiner and Brooke McQuigge.

For the record: Whitecaps did not appeal Tristan Blackmon’s second yellow on Saturday. He is indeed suspended vs SD.

Just spoke with Jim Rutherford. Column coming shortly.

Confirms the team's four UFAs are available for a trade.

Even said "rebuild" himself -- though with a laugh and not as a definitional word

From the 70th minute onwards San Diego were +13 this year, best mark in the league. Minnesota were -2, which was one of the worst marks among playoff teams.

Extend that to tournament play: Dreyer's game-winner last night came in the 72nd minute. Fodrey's USOC game-winner game in the 120th.

Canucks now making more than just one veteran available for trade
The Canucks are looking for young guys. They're moving on from one.

They won't say 'rebuild' but it's pretty obvious what they're doing.

About the apparent end of the Lukas Reichel era and a (actual) veteran trade chip

Canucks' Lukas Reichel look appears over
The Lukas Reichel experiment being deemed over may just be the beginning of a series of moves to make this team even younger.

In the 1980s the Canucks were bad year after year and drew flies as a result.

Lions ruled the roost then.

Wonder if Caps can seize the flag when MLS switches to a winter season in 2027?

NYC FC knocks out Phila Union, meaning the Caps’ hopes of hosting the MLS Cup final are still alive.

Obviously need to win the Western final next week and have NYC win in Miami to take east.

PKs my god

What a wild story this game has been for the caps

From the dominant first half. The near-choke in the second. Going down to 10 then 9 men.

LA with multiple glorious chances to score.
