It turns out that there are plenty of people out there who are willing to be jerks to you. Don't do their work for them. You're giving them a free pass. Make them do it, and when you laugh them off, you're just pissing them off that much more, because they had to try AND fail.

Canceled my trip next week to TwitchCon in the US. Part of me still wants to go, but after talking with my wife, we decided that this is for the best. Too much uncertainty, too much craziness, and my family comes first.

As if to mock me, the "enterprise" NVMe drive with ALL my games on it died sometime between last night and whenever I got home from work today.

That's all my Clone Hero songs, all my Rocksmith charts, all my game UI files gone.

I can't catch a damn break these days, I swear it.

I haven't logged in over there in... a very long time. Is there an uptake in interest in Mastodon again for some reason? I always found it next to impossible to discover anything over there, so I didn't bother trying to integrate much.

Whew. Back home. Took a trip this weekend with my 3 favourite people and my 1 favourite doggo to go visit family in London, ON. That's a heck of a long drive with 3 people and a doggo, no matter how much I may love them.

Such programs prevent, and discourage, the development of human beings both into free and critical thinkers and into proficient and creative writers and communicators.

Therefore, the use of these programs to assist in any way with any assignments in this course constitutes a violation of academic integrity and is therefore strictly forbidden.

First offense = zero for the assignment
Second offense = failure for the course

If you are ever tempted to use AI because you ran out of time and energy to finish an
assignment on time, just email me for an extension!
