Everyone loves that episode, but I'm a dialogue person, so the lack of dialogue and resulting need to actually consistently look at the screen instead of getting periodically distracted and just following the words, made it a tough one for me πŸ˜‚. It is a great episode though.
Tried to drown the depression spiral in (off-brand) nutella. Kind of worked. Feel sick now instead. Turns out, there is a nutella limit.
I wasn't a big fan of The Initiative, but I mostly just hated Riley. There's some good Spike content in season 4 though, and of course some good Willow content.

On this watch-through, we're mixing in Angel, but season by season not episode by episode, so we're doing season 1 after Buffy season 4.
Pretty sure that's likely at this point, yet I persist.
Would you keep writing even if you knew no other soul would ever read your words? ✍️

We're mid Buffy rewatch at the moment. Thankfully nearly at the end of this season. Not one of my favourite seasons overall, but it's got some excellent moments.

HELLO today's my birthday and i'd love a few shares of my art πŸ₯Ί

AND ALsO go tell all your favorite artists you love their work πŸ’œπŸ’œπŸ’œ
Pretty spider.

We had a false widow living in the bathroom for a while that I often used to see investigating the condensation on the top of the shower curtain rail after one of us had showered.
Another amazing chronic illness conundrum: Do I take the meds that keep my blood liquid and my immune system from eating itself, or do I take the meds to get rid of the acid reflux that's making me wish for death? Not enough time for both as the heartburn meds stop the others working if too close.
Ideation is bad today and the brain is playing the, no one will even notice you're gone, waltz.
Taking part in this over on FB next month. It's in support of a really good cause and, if the last one is any indication, will be crammed full of talented creators. It's free to join as a customer, so please share and pop in if you can.
Was very excited to spend the day with hubby today, but it turned out hubby was very excited to spend the day with his Lego, so I guess I'll just get some work done like every other day.

Every writing related job I can find online falls into one of two categories.

1) You must have a PhD, 20 years of experience, and proof you've worked for 30 top rated publications.

2) Please rewrite our AI slop for Β£5 per 20k words.

There is no in between 😒
Update: I ate too much. No regrets πŸ˜‚
We're eating dinner super late tonight, but we will be eating pulled pork with swede and carrot mash and sweetcorn, so it's worth every second of the wait.

Bless Sainsburys special offers that make a Β£5 pork butt do two main meals for both of us with lunches for hubby left over.

Vicious RSD in progress and I have no one to blame but myself. Not a shred of involvement from anyone else. I did this all on my own with hope and (apparently) unrealistic expectation. It's properly got me today though. Going to go and cry for an hour or two, maybe three, then get on with something.
I love those little unexpected moments of truth in writing fiction. Completely in the flow of writing dialogue, one of my characters just said something that made stop completely, sit back and go,

Oh...

Oh no...

...

Well, fuck.
Something in my peripheral vision has been making my jump all night. I've just realised it's one spectacularly shiny grey hair, completely different length to the rest of my hair, and pointing in the wrong direction. πŸ˜‚

I don't have a lot of grey yet, but I'm feeling like it's going to be weird.

GOOD NEWS! For the first time ever, Huntington's disease has been successfully treated. A groundbreaking new miRNA treatment, AMT-130, slowed the progression of the disease by 75%. These results are likely to support the first approval of a genetic treatment for the rare neurodegenerative condition.

The older I get, the more immortality seems like a nightmare..
I need to figure out which of my WIPs I can get absorbed in, otherwise I'm just going to doomscroll myself into a despair spiral.
It was amazing. She is amazing. And it's always wonderful to see her. My soul is lifted and recharged. The flesh vessel and jelly brain is exhausted. πŸ˜‚
Had one of my important people over today. Great for my mental health, but we talked for three hours and I am SO Very Tired now. πŸ˜‚
Reminding my brain how much it likes Vox Machina as night time background noise, now I've got to find an on repeat replacement for Daria. I love the show, but it's a bit distracting and there's a touch too much music. It's a start though.
