A6. What a great way to uncover the hidden curriculum, disorienting dilemmas and other areas for future focus. We record the types of queries that come up at different times of year and put in workshops to preemptively support. Now making short HowTo vids re common enquiries #LTHEchat
A5. When a student is grappling with a sticky problem- Pulling out a good example from within a their work, discussing with them why they are good, and then focusing on how they might be able to use that approach to move forward #LTHEchat

A4. This is so important but a real challenge for learners with multiple competing pressures on their time. Perhaps talking about the value of learning dialogues in our own academic journey (past and present) to highlight their value. Also ensuring dialogue is supportive, non-threatening #LTHEchat

First thought is that I love that you have such thorough guidance aimed specifically at research students. Second thought is that I need to add the creation of such a resource to my to do list. I will have a proper read tomorrow when not working off a tiny phone screen! Thanks for sharing.

True. I have found that PHD students have appreciated and been reassured by being given specific sample prompts and signposts to AI tools that may be useful
A1. One aspect that I have had PHD students and supervisors ask me about is how AI can ethically and effectively be used to support their work. Many avoid any use through fear and uncertainty about what’s okay and what breaches integrity guidelines
