Some of these tools may be useful, but we can decide who's in our "social neighborhood" by who we follow. We don't need (or want) an algorithm prioritizing or downplaying posts on our behalf. That's why we left other platforms to come here.

because as a number of other software people have pointed out, by adding another barrier to conversation it's going to drop interaction.

also, "bad faith" is hard to auto detect.
