This week’s Writing Club entry & prompt is brought to you by taking back the word “fine.”

“For now, I feel all of the things I described above and am happy and grateful to feel them in the present moment (or as close to the present...”

This week’s Writing Club entry & prompt is brought to you by extended quality time spent with my parents as an adult.

“Present day me: I used to love reading when I was younger, but was out of the habit of it before this time. I’m happy...

This week’s Writing Club prompt is brought to you by fighting embarrassment, failures, and fears with logic.

Present day me: “I’m avoiding the question…” haha that’s exactly what I’m good at. I’m proud of myself for finally getting to address the...

Oh! And Phenomenal by @lahenion.bsky.social is truly phenomenal. I can’t recommend it enough.
The Butterfly Garden by Dot Hutchison still haunts me.

Natural Selection by Elin Hilderbrand is a novella that made me think about life for a long time after.

And I’m currently in the middle of Last seen by J. T. Ellison which uses the writing style to mimic mental state in a genius way.
Slow Time Between the Stars by @scalzi.com was so good I’ve read it twice and it’s short. It’s intriguing & thought provoking without being emotionally draining when you’re already worn down.

Give Her Credit by @theshescribe.bsky.social is great especially if you need a jump start of motivation.
This week’s Writing Club prompt is brought to you by a writing workshop hosted by one of my favorite authors.

Your turn (but only if you feel like it): Make a list of what you did today. Does that list look like you’re living more in fear or in curiosity?

This week's #WritingClub prompt is brought to you by our favorite things. Because it can't all be gripes and low moments vented in crinkly journal pages.

Your turn (but only if you feel like it): What's your favorite thing from last week?

This week’s Writing Club prompt is brought to you by the phrase “tomorrow will be better.”

Your turn (but only if you feel like it): What’s been getting under your skin lately? And what do you try to do to get past those things?

This week’s Writing Club prompt is brought to you by a real unwanted visit from the norovirus bringing an unhealthy dose of “everything sucks” and “I just want to sleep for days until this is all over.”

And the way it goes, you’ll wake up feeling…

I’m proudly the type of person that will write something on a to-do list just to feel the satisfaction of crossing it off. I’m also the kind of person that will journal the about the boring things that I’ve done so I can look back to see those small accomplishments.

This week's Writing Club entry & prompt starts as an attempt to get over some regular, run of the mill, lack of inspiration with a side of writers block. My go-to remedy is to list what I ate last (or what I'm currently eating) and lo & behold that morphs into more.

Today’s #WritingClub entry & prompt starts with a throwback to my 35th birthday and the existential musing that only a milestone birthday can fuel. It’s a bittersweet paradox of a celebration mixed with a full-life reflection of what came before.

Does anyone else sometimes just make lists in their #journal when it feels too overwhelming to focus on anything else?

...Just me?

This week's #JournalClub entry is brought you by a day when I was determined to pull myself out of a rut and get things moving.

This week's #WritingClub prompt is brought to you by a big lesson learned way back when I was a freshman in high school that I still think about today.

What lesson did you learn the hard way back when you were young?

I just realized that I’ve officially hit my 2025 reading goal.

Please excuse the humblebrag here. I’m just really happy to be back in my reading era.

Anyone want to share their progress so far?
