When I first typed this quote I accidentally mistyped “sleep is another a revolutionary mistake” and honestly, that would make a great spin off episode.

I’m lobbying Ed Helms or Kal Penn to tackle that for a crossover episode that the world needs right now.
“Sleep is not an evolutionary mistake” 💛😂

Job well done @tpwky.bsky.social

Highly recommend this episode!
Sleep is a universal experience. It’s not just the lion that sleeps tonight - it’s also the butterfly,
the chicken, the jellyfish, the dog, and of course the human. What is this widespread physiological process whose spell we are all under? Tune in as we unravel some of the mysteries of sleep!

New blog post up:

"Do I know what this will look like in the end? Heck no.

Do I feel prepared to do this? Absolutely not.

Do I have a space picked out already? Not even close. I'm starting from square one...

Am I terrified? Also, yes."

"...The North Star of a life that is full of adventure, curiosity, understanding, and appreciation makes the end result the journey itself. It makes the goal that I'm chasing its own North Star.

Is this what scientists mean when they say time isn't linear?"

I just spent some time journaling about the productivity of inactivity. Maybe it's just mental gymnastics, but the perceived inactivity of slowing down to attempt to live in the present moment is a skill for me to learn & practice. So then it becomes and accomplishment that I can feel good about.

I've been thinking about New Years resolutions. Pros. Cons. Whether I should make them work for me or not. I love goal setting. I like having something to work toward. I think it's a good thing and helps me change. I also want to be kind to myself avoiding unnecessary & unhelpful stressors.

We second this request!!
Anyone have a good recommendation for an on-demand printer for a customized branded journal? Bonus points if it's a sustainable & socially responsible company. I'm looking to switch the printer for our podcast journals from Amaz*n to a printer we can feel better about.

Please and thank you!
