I'm hoping a shot of antibiotics will help her and I can finally sleep a whole night in my bed again. I've been trying to sleep in my closet because I just can't listen to her breathe like this all night. Plus I keep waking and not knowing where I am 😆

She's pretty much been breathing like that nonstop for the last few days. The vet gave her a steroid injection hoping that might help with inflammation but there was a risk of triggering infection which is what is probably happening now

Good news is this one might not need surgery because she responded well to the medication. If she does need surgery, it won't need to happen right away! My other cat is not doing so well unfortunately. She goes back to the vet later today for a shot
