Goodbye, Diane Keaton. I wasn't exactly a fan, in fact I don't really know her oeuvre very well at all. But I have always appreciated and admired her sense of style. Always a little weird, androgynous, eclectic - never just doing standard Hollywood sexy babe. Thanks for standing out, Ms. Keaton.

After doing a regular topcoat, I let it all set hard overnight, and tonight I used scotch tape to lay down a diagonal line and did an asymmetrical tip with a matte topper. I'm really pleased with how it turned out!

#manicure #extremityfetish I went all out this week with autumn vibes & a new-to-me technique! This one's a skittle with 5 creme polishes, all Mooncat. Thumb to pinky: Emo for Life (black), From the Ashes (burgundy), Poison Ivy (dark teal), Beowulf (forest green) & Queen of Chaos (eggplant purple).

Altogether, on top of being delicious and full of rich nutritious things, it's got incredibly satisfying texture, and it's not excessively sweet. Total win. I will absolutely be making this one again. 😋

This was a new-to-me recipe, with nearly two cups of walnuts in each loaf, which of course I toasted for extra nutty flavour. The top is sprinkled with coarse cane sugar.

Only partway through mixing two bowls of batter did I realize I didn't have *enough* zucchini! Good thing I also inherited frozen grated carrots! So loaf #2 is an experimental combination of zucchini and carrot.

I inherited a lot of frozen grated zucchini when one Best Ex moved to Vancouver a month ago, and freezer space was getting tight, so I decided I needed to bake some zucchini loaf. With lots of walnuts, natch. Then I decided since I have two loaf pans and tons of zucchini, might as well make two.

Fun news: Having narrated the audiobook version of my own book, Post-Nonmongamy and Beyond, and half-ish of More Than Two, Second Edition, I've now been asked to voice several books by other authors starting early next year. Just made a sweet little trip to Montreal to see a lovely friend passing through from the US. 💚 @glitter-femme.bsky.social We came across some fun street art in Mile End. And discovered that Fairmount Bagel is now selling haskap-rubbed salmon which is totally delicious! I love this place.

Wildest part: I swear they all looked real. But of course, it was dark, it was firelight, his sweater was covering where there could have been strings or whatever, and also I didn't want to stare. Though he was kind of inviting it.

Just had a random memory of being at Burning Man in 2004 and standing around a fire with my then-partner and a bunch of strangers. Partner says "that guy has the WILDEST costume." I look over: guy is wearing a sweater and no pants. That's it. Then I realize he's got three dicks.

In the meantime, my longtime local water spa is closing in January. So no more post-prodding "I need to retreat from the world in a hot tub and cold plunge" within biking distance. 😭
