I think people have a very limited view of government in general. It's never about one person doing a job. It always matters who they are surrounding themselves with and how they treat their staff.

I have been active in city politics for over 20 years. Very few people have impressed me as leaders. Arnie Fielkow. Joe Giarusso. Mitch Landrieu (yes). And we'll see, but I haven't seen staff like Helena's team since Mary Cunningham in district C. She has good people.

The stories I heard today from people that don't vote in every election were wild to me. I have voted in pretty much every election since I turned 18. It's wild to me that people don't vote.

RFK fired the CDC official (w/decades of experience) leading the measles outbreak response. It's been decades since we've had such a large outbreak. And just to ensure they they can spread the measles outbreak even farther, they also fired the leadership for the center focused on immunization.

I think we really should stop using antifa and just fully say anti-fascist and get them saying they are against anti fascism. Using antifa is giving them some distance and I genuinely think some of their base don’t even know that’s what it stands for.

I was there or witnessed the same thing. It appeared to be a lesbian multi racial wedding and I stood there in witness to the beauty of today. Wonderful! That was at city park.
