PD: esto me lleva a lamentar más aún el absoluto DESASTRE que son las ayudas al videojuego en España. Con un par de millones se podrían sacar adelante 10 proyectos potentes… si hubiera algo más que un mono con una ballesta repartiendo el dinero, claro.

They can’t be bothered to clean house, or don’t dare do it for fear of being accused of extremism or anti free speech. And so the myth that online communities are inherently toxic is born as a self-fulfilling prophecy, and suddenly it’s inevitable, rather than a consequence of their inaction.

They are bad faith actors who will never buy these games anyway — just brown shirts trying to scare people into compliance. Sadly so many devs and publishers try to appease them or just ignore them and let them turn every forum into a toxic waste.

There’s a bunch of these assholes who jump from forum to forum, asking every game if it has “women or DEI” characters and starting fights with everyone. The only way to deal with them is dealing immediate bans and going scorched earth with their posts.

Pasa que hay muy poco capital moviéndose en la industria y el poco que hay quiere ningún riesgo y un retorno que, en la escala en la que se mueven estudios de 3-4 personas, es casi imposible. Pero si tuviera 200-300K me iria hoy de aquí con dos juegos firmados.

Mi impresión tras la visita al @bcngamefest.bsky.social de este año es que lo único que hace falta en España es capital, porque lo demás ya está. He visto fácil 6 juegos que estoy 100% seguro de que funcionarían comercialmente.

El activismo occidental no se alegra por un acuerdo de paz.
A lo mejor porque no han parado los bombardeos sobre civiles. Porque no se va a perseguir a los militares que han actuado impunemente y a los dirigentes promotores. Porque apenas hay garantías de que se recuperen las ciudades arrasadas.
