While it could work within a thematic sense, it could come off as Yuka only existing as a motivator for Tsurugi and John Mojuro's (I forgot his name lmao) arcs—and tbh the reaction around how Yuki and Nobara were handled really makes me not want a repeat of that.

I think the issue lies in how we don't have the root cause of why Yoshida chains himself. Reze was raised as a weapon, Denji has his trauma, Miri traded leashes under the guise of freedom.

Comparatively, Yoshida os a puzzle, and one with no solution. It annoys me as far as writing goes.

The thing that warning Denji about the bad shit when he knows for a fact Denji won't listen sorta encapsulates why I dislike him. Yoshida has a devil contract, he's got training, but the best he can do to help the guy he supposedly likes is half-assed warnings and full-assed attempts to ruin the 1/2

Idk cause they want me to believe a man whose got one (1) whole moment being nice to Denji and one hundred chapters being more whipped than Garp (for FREE might I had, no blackmail or threat to his life) had the same depth as Aki.
