Question for those who find themselves without their walking partner: when will I feel like going for a walk again? Every time the thought crosses my mind I just can’t go without BuddyGus. How long did it take for you? I’m getting plenty of steps without going out, but I miss the river & trails.

My hand on Daisy while BudfyGus supervises.

I like all of them, but the yellow on lower left adds a pop of bright, saturated color. If that’s what you want, go for it. I’ve seen bees in the garden just that bright. 🐝

While the delicata squash & chicken finish roasting, I took a brief trip to check on the hood. It’s mid-fall here, & that means yellows, golds and reds below with snow and clouds at the higher elevation. The palette looked dark and chilly. With the cold front & wind tonight, things will change.
