Wenn man auf die echten Probleme wie Wohnungsnot, Klimakatastrophen, Bildung, Pflege, Renten, Brückensa-
nierung, Bahnsanierung usw. keine Lösungen findet, weil man das Geld an die oberen 1000 verschenkt, dann muss man die Leute mit sowas wie vegetarische Benennungen oder auch "Genderwahnsinn" ablenken.

Die #Chatkontrolle ist ein massiver Eingriff in die Grundrechte. Wenn sie kommt, wird es keine verschlüsselte und sichere Kommunikation in Europa mehr geben.

Das gilt es bei der Abstimmung im EU-Rat nächste Woche zu verhindern. Denn es geht um unsere Freiheit.

While defending the luddite argument in Discord, I stumbled into this IMO succinct explanation for opposing generative AI:

At every step in the process, it impoverishes us.

AI impoverishes us at every step of the process:
- data centers pollute our environment
- energy use drives up costs
- content theft robs creators of income
- the actual output is used to displace workers and depress wages
- using it harms our mental health and impairs our competence
- the flood of AI slop is damaging our sociopolitical landscape

All in service of making a worse product - and world - to enrich a handful of already spectacularly wealthy people

When I say that I am morally opposed to using #AI image generators, it's not only if you "pass it off" as your own work, it's simply the act of engaging with the technology. AI was trained on stolen-intellectual labor & uses a *huge* amount of energy while humans are struggling to meet basic needs.
