So yeah. Hubs' and my mental health are now a full time job after my other job. And of course life requires much more than that as well. So. Online and art are so beyond my scope right now.

I remember responding "okay but we never got to my faults and errors in the marriage or in my day to day relationships..." and she replied 'yeah, you see how I told you you needed to care for yourself and you turned that into self-critical responsibilities? That's why.' So. Woops.

Meanwhile the therapist we had let me know she believed I needed a specialist as well. She said for carrying the relationship and the people in my life as long as I have, I've developed traumas and burnout so I need my own trauma specialist to help me sort that out. Which, fair.

The separation isn't a bad thing. Our therapist we had before realized (and helped us realize) that my husband is severely depressed and needs a higher level of care than she could provide. So we're addressing that first and putting the marriage on the backburner as well to help him.

There's just so much. And art is not happening. I mean I'm doodling in all sorts of sketchbooks and scrap paper but I never have the time to sit down and polish anything. So I'm also putting art on the back burner.

I haven't been active online for awhile. And I might not be for a long while. Jay and I are going through a very soft unique version of a separation, we're each seeing specialists and therapists, I got a promotion at my job, and the dogs have been having health problems that require attention.
