This rose bred to honor Henry Fonda. Fonda with a group of prominent actors created to protest the House Un-American Activities Committee (HUAC), which was investigating and blacklisting entertainment industry professionals for suspected Communist sympathies during the McCarthy era.
The 'Henry Fonda' rose is a hybrid tea with large, deep yellow blooms, typically around 4.5 inches wide, that are lightly scented and have a high-centered form with 20-25 petals. It's known for its vigorous growth, reaching about 5 feet tall, and its dark green, glossy foliage that provides a striking contrast to the bright yellow flowers. The rose is a strong performer, blooming in flushes from early summer to fall and displaying good disease resistance.

My Story is a double daffodil for the ages! Truly memorable, double blossoms of 3¾" top dwarf plants that look amazing in groupings both large and small. Greenish-white petals surround fully double, salmon-pink corona cups, producing a highly unique color scheme.

PVBM005 (Pink Vanguard x Buoy Master). Nice plant, remains upright, flowers vary somewhat and are semi-double, but alway very large. Some years they are more double than others. Now is the perfect time to divide and share with a breast cancer paitent. Peonies are for sharing!
