"jim crow inspired the nuremberg laws" is a corruption of what actually happened, which is that nazi lawyers looked at jim crow laws hoping to mine its justifications and language for the creation of legal race categories, and by and large outright failed

I would also add that especially in the last decade or so, boycotts have been seen more as a trend then actual activism. That, and the lack of other activism is why a lot of these "boycotts" fail.

We've been conditioned to be lazy with activism and that's been biting all of us in the butts

Everyone’s boycotting something lately. Conservatives rage at Netflix for old trans-inclusive shows, liberals cancel Disney+ over Kimmel, gamers dump Game Pass over price hikes. It shows how much people think “activism” just means withholding their wallet. Capitalism has captured even our dissent.
